Lamson Mini Masher with Walnut Handle
£36.50
Ex Tax: £30.42
An ergonomic walnut and stainless steel mini masher, crafted out of hardy steel with brass rivets and a durable dark wood handle. Also described as an “avocado masher”, this nifty utensil can be used for pressing par boiled potatoes down ready for roasting, for mashing things in small bowls, or for general mashing and smashing. A reccomended use would be pressing a boiled potato onto a baking sheet and sprinkling with olive oil, rosemary, and salt, to roast until crispy and delicious. Made by Lamson, America’s oldest surviving cutlery company, operating out of Massachusetts since 1837. 6cm diameter head. Hand wash only.
Care Advice
Despite its name, stainless steel is not 100% rust proof. With that in mind, we still recommend hand washing, and storage in a dry environment.
Treat the wooden handle when necessary with a food safe mineral oil to keep the wood from drying out and prevent warping or splitting, which could result in the handle coming loose.
