A delicately flared dipping bowl with blue glaze to the interior, wheel-thrown in the Cotswolds village of St Chloe by Tom Knowles Jackson. Great for serving dipping sauces, pickles or other condiments. A potter from a young age (trained by Steve Sheridan as a schoolboy and strongly influenced by local potter Richard Batterham), Knowles Jackson returned to ceramics following careers in the army and business, and now creates his own standard range of high fired stoneware. Using a small range of glazes derived from iron, copper and wood ash, Knowles Jackson fires his pieces in a self-built down-draught wood fired kiln. Measures approximately 4cm tall x 7cm diameter. Dishwasher, food & oven safe.
