A lidded soy sauce pourer, hand thrown in iron-rich stoneware and glazed in blue ash for us by Symy Ong a mile or so from the Objects of Use store. The symmetrical lid has two grooves that each allow for a controlled pour, perfect for serving at the table or cooking with. Ong, who apprenticed for a year with a Japanese wood-fired pottery, has recently set up studio in Oxford, making stoneware pieces which are fired in a gas kiln. Measures approximately 7cm in diameter, and is 9cm tall. Approximately 22cl storage capacity. Variation is to be expected given the hand-made nature of this product.
