La Cible Spring Divider, Japanned Carbon Steel, 200mm

Made in France, these, elegant high-carbon steel dividers have a finely tempered bow spring and a corrosion-resistant, zinc bichromated quick-action screw to allow rapid setup and extra fine, precision tuning. With sharp, hardened points and black japanned steel finish for a durable tool, these dividers are ideal for measuring the distance between two points for accurate marking for creative, mathematical and woodworking projects with consistent results. Braced with a bowspring and controlled by a double-bored conical nut that can be angled and slid into position, they then re-engage under spring pressure so you can fine tune the adjustment. With a history stretching back to 1902, Ledin have long been crafting a range of high quality measuring tools, beautifully forged and hand ground in Saint-Etienne, offering rigidity, accuracy and durability. Each piece is entirely made in France with the utmost attention to detail. The shaft length of the dividers measure 200mm with a maximum opening of 215mm.
