A French-made, high-carbon steel outer caliper with a finely tempered spring and corrosion-resistant, zinc bichromated quick-action nuts to allow rapid setup and extra fine, precision tuning. Ideal for accurately measuring the external size of an object for creative, mathematical and woodworking projects with consistent results. With a history stretching back to 1902, Ledin have long been crafting a range of high quality measuring tools, beautifully forged and hand ground in Saint-Etienne, offering rigidity, accuracy and durability.
