Ex Tax: £30.83
Made in France, this elegant high-carbon steel spring compass, complete with knurled pencil holder, has a finely tempered bow spring and a corrosion-resistant, zinc bichromated quick-action screw to allow rapid setup and extra fine, precision tuning. With a sharp, hardened point and a polished steel finish for a durable tool, this tool is perfect for accurately inscribing circles or arcs. Braced with a bowspring and controlled by a double-bored conical nut that can be angled and slid into position, they then re-engage under spring pressure so you can fine tune the adjustment. Founded in 1993, Ledin craft a range of high quality measuring tools, beautifully forged and hand ground in Saint-Etienne, offering rigidity, accuracy and durability. Each piece is entirely made in France with the utmost attention to detail. The pencil holder of the compass can accommodate any writing implement with a diameter of up to 8mm. The arms of these compasses measure 150mm with a maximum opening of 150mm. Keep dry.
