A small white porcelain pitcher with lid, to use with thin sauces like soy sauce, for adding sauce to dishes at the table. Made in Aichi Prefecture in Japan by Marumitsu Poterie, established in 1950, who create table and kitchenwares embracing both traditional and modern ceramic techniques, using a diverse range of natural materials (porcelain, stoneware, earthenware and open-fire resistant earthenware). Their collection of tableware and donabes are made from natural clay excavated from the Japanese mountains, shaped and glazed by hand, with dipped or hand-brushed glazes. Measures 74mm wide, 44mm deep and 72mm high, with a capacity of 65cc. Microwave and dishwasher safe, not oven safe.
