Lamson “Granny Fork” for Serving or Cooking with Walnut Handle
£27.00
Ex Tax: £22.50
A traditional “Granny Fork” with sharp tines crafted from hardened and tempered stainless steel, and a durable walnut handle with brass rivets. This versatile kitchen companion can be used to secure meat and vegetables when carving or slicing, as an elegant serving aid, for testing how ready potatoes, vegetables and baked goods are, for spearing pickles and olives, or as the ideal accoutrement to a ploughman's lunch. Made by Lamson, America’s oldest surviving cutlery company, operating out of Massachusetts since 1837. Handwash only.
Care Advice
Despite its name, stainless steel is not 100% rust proof. With that in mind, we still recommend hand washing, and storage in a dry environment.
Treat the wooden handle when necessary with a food safe mineral oil to keep the wood from drying out and prevent warping or splitting, which could result in the handle coming loose.
- Weight g 40g
- Item Dimensions L20.5 x W2 x H1.5
- Materials Stainless steel, brass, and walnut wood
