Japanese Ceramic Flared Table Pitcher

A simple, rustic ceramic pitcher, ideal for serving fresh drip coffee, decanting wine, or water for an intimate dinner setting. Fits with Marumitsu's Japanese Ceramic Coffee Dripper. Made in Aichi Prefecture in Japan by Marumitsu Poterie, established in 1950, who create table and kitchenwares embracing both traditional and modern ceramic techniques, using a diverse range of natural materials (porcelain, stoneware, earthenware and open-fire resistant earthenware). Their collection of tableware and donabes are made from natural clay excavated from the Japanese mountains, shaped and glazed by hand, with dipped or hand-brushed glazes. Comfortably holds 550ml of liquid. Microwave and dishwasher safe, but not oven safe.
