White vitreous enamelled steel 12cm flat skimmer, with a 30cm handle, great for scooping poached eggs out of their water, for use when deep frying or for skimming foam from the top of cooking liquids. Made in the enamel workshops of Riess, who with roots dating back to 1550 in the Austrian town of Ybbsitz have operated in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way for generations.

Enamel can chip upon impact. Provided there are only chips on the exterior surface the item will still be safe to use. We recommend repurposing or disposing of enamel products chipped on the interior surface.
Enamel is suitable for oven use, but should always be left to cool down before washing.
Enamel is generally dishwasher safe, though we recommend hand washing especially when items are chipped.
