Hand-woven in Worcestershire by Sarah Loughlin using several varieties of willow: Old French, Flanders Red, Black Willow, Harrisons Seedling and Dicky Meadows. The willow is soaked and/or steamed before being painstakingly woven according to precise patterns. Willow baskets are sturdy and long-lasting, as long as they are kept dry and out of direct sunlight (which will fade the willow’s natural colours).
