A pair of urushi-lacquered chestnut wood chopsticks, made in Japan, with a fine shape and pointed tips, for accurate morsel selection. Urushi lacquering is a highly skilled technique which uses the sap from an urushi tree (Rhus vernacifera), which is processed and carefully applied, before being cured in very precise conditions to enable the lacquer to complete its hardening process. Measures 23cm in length. Hand-wash only, and dry immediately after. Lay flat to finish drying. 

Care Advice

Hand wash only. Dry immediately after washing. Wooden items should not be soaked. Treat with a food-safe mineral oil when necessary to to condition the wood and prevent warping and cracking.
