A small flared stoneware tumbler, wheel-thrown by Tom Knowles Jackson in the Cotswolds village of St Chloe. Great for a shot of espresso, liqueurs or dipping sauces. A potter from a young age (trained by Steve Sheridan as a schoolboy and strongly influenced by local potter Richard Batterham), Knowles Jackson returned to ceramics following careers in the army and business, and now creates his own standard range of high fired stoneware. Using a small range of glazes derived from iron, copper and wood ash, Knowles Jackson fires his pieces in a self-built down-draught wood fired kiln. Measures approximately 7cm tall x 7cm diameter. Dishwasher, food & oven safe.
