A small hand-thrown creamer in a matte green ash glaze. Made in Cardiff by studio potter Jack Welbourne and glazed in hand-mixed and applied glazes. Sits well in the hand, with thick walls allowing for a comfortable hold. After training in Cardiff and Gothenburg, Sweden, Welbourne set up his studio where he produces gas-fired wheel-thrown stoneware in red stoneware clay mined in Cornwall, using hand-mixed glazes made using potash, chalk, iron oxide and flint. 11cm width including the handle, 8cm diameter and 10cm tall, approximately.
