A hand built ceramic soap stand with a three-dimensional chequerboard formation, formed in a high iron stoneware by Jynsym Ong, a mile or so from the Objects of Use store, and glazed in a translucent green. Perfect for holding one of our Klar or Vaasan soaps. Ong, who apprenticed for a year with a Japanese wood-fired pottery, has since set up studio in Oxford, making stoneware pieces which are fired in a gas kiln. Around 8cm x 5cm, ideal for small spaces.
