A charmingly diminutive bud vase, hand thrown in stoneware and glazed in a home-made birch ash glaze which carries a delicate green hue with speckles of brown and grey. Perfect for small sprigs of flowers, herbs and other foliage. Hand thrown and glazed by Simon Horton which is then reduction fired in South Oxfordshire in a small gas kiln of his own making. Measures approximately 7cm in diameter at the base, an opening of 2cm with a height of 8cm — though it is to be noted that the hand-made nature of the object may allow for some variance in size and shape.
