A 'V' shaped scrubbing brush of oiled boreal birch and tampico fibre hand-stitched by the crafts people of a Finnish visually impaired workers cooperative. Tampico is a moderately stiff vegetable fibre harvested from an agave found only in the Chihuahuan desert. The fibres have a microscopically barbed surface, which helps hold water for more effective cleaning, and lends them a gentle polishing action. Longer bristles to the front of the brush allow accurate for spot cleaning. About 20cm long by 6.5cm wide.
Care Advice
Keep dry when not in use. In the case of wet-use brushes, please shake any excess moisture from the bristles, and dry hanging up or on a surface with the bristles facing down. Clean brushes only when necessary with a little dish soap and hot water, making sure to dry thoroughly. Condition the wooden surface every now and then with a beeswax furniture polish, or mineral oil, to prevent cracks or splitting.
