Woven Washi Paper Ribbed Socks, Sand, Medium

A pair of classically styled ribbed Japanese socks with excellent absorption properties and antibacterial and deodorising effects, thanks to the two-ply Sasawashi yarn they are knitted with. Sasawashi yarns are made from twisted strips of traditional Japanese washi paper, the composition of which is part washi, and part kumazasa (a type of bamboo). The wider the strip the thicker the yarn, and once they have been spun they can be woven or knitted into products with with all the benefits of this new fabric — including high water and oil absorbency, natural antibacterial and deodorant power from the added kumazasa, and a washing durability on par with cotton. Machine washable, though a net is recommended. Sized medium, measuring 23cm to 25cm.
