Open Weave Washi Paper & Cotton Exfoliating Towel for the Body

A wide mesh washing cloth woven in Japan from a blend of cotton and washi paper yarns, made from twisted strips of traditional Japanese paper, the composition of which is part washi, and part kumazasa (a kind of bamboo). The wider the strip, the thicker the yarn, and once they have been spun they can be woven or knitted into products with with all the benefits of this new fabric — including high water and oil absorbency, natural antibacterial and deodorant power from the added kumazasa, and a washing durability on par with cotton. The mesh structure of this large wash cloth allows for easy lathering of soap, and comfortable washing. Its natural properties will also remove excess oil from the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and clean. Machine washable, though a net is recommended. 70% Sasawashi, 30% Cotton. Measures 27cm by 93cm.
