A traditional black handled stainless steel 15cm carving fork from Sabatier K in Theirs, France, especially suited to the carving of poultry and meat. Made by K Sabatier, one of the two original Sabatier families working from Theirs, France, and a company renowned for the quality of their classic hand-ground knives.
Care Advice
Hand wash and dry well with a soft cloth immediately after use. Ensure the knife is never left sitting in wet conditions. High quality stainless steel knives will often include a high-carbon element, to increase performance. These kind of stainless steels are not 100% rust proof, and will require careful handling. Any good quality kitchen knife should be kept away from the dishwasher, as the combination of salt, humidity and heat are not beneficial for the knife’s cutting edge. A sharp knife is a safe knife — use a honing rod to keep a fine edge, and sharpen with a stone when necessary.
