Austrian Enamel Lunch Pail
£68.00
Ex Tax: £56.67
A white vitreous enamel food carrier or lunch-pail, perfect for the transportation of yesterday's dinner when a superior yet inexpensive working lunch is required. With a rubber seal to the inside rim, and a handy carrying handle integrated into the closure mechanism. The steel and enamel construction is tough enough to be used directly on any hob (including the frequently problematic induction) which means food can be both prepared in the containers, and reheated when required — although not with the lid on, for safety reasons. Made in Austria by a company with roots dating to 1550 and powered by their own hydroelectric plants, providing a model for environmentally responsible industry. Diameter 160mm height 67mm, capacity 0.75l.
Care Advice
Enamel can chip upon impact. Provided there are only chips on the exterior surface the item will still be safe to use. We recommend repurposing or disposing of enamel products chipped on the interior surface.
Enamel is suitable for oven use, but should always be left to cool down before washing.
Enamel is generally dishwasher safe, though we recommend hand washing especially when items are chipped.
