Romanian Enamel Lidded Cocotte or Roaster, Speckled Black
£38.00
Ex Tax: £31.67
A large capacity lidded goose roaster, in black enamelled steel with tiny white speckles. A lighter weight pan with handles at both ends, this pan is designed for traditional goose roasting, popular across northern Europe. Perfect for roasting and braising large fowl and cuts of meat or fish, as well as for large casseroles, stews, vegetable roasting, and more. The dimples in the lid allow condensed water to collect inside during the roasting process, which then drips over the roasted food to keep the meat tender and juicy, removing the need to replenish any cooking liquids. The pan has a traditional flare rim for easier pouring, this roaster measures 38cm, 28cm wide and 15cm high. Fine for use on most heat sources, but not induction, as the base isn't flat. This is a lighter-weight pan, heat slowly to begin with. Dishwasher safe, although the enamel may dull slightly.
Care Advice
Enamel can chip upon impact. Provided there are only chips on the exterior surface the item will still be safe to use. We recommend repurposing or disposing of enamel products chipped on the interior surface. Enamel is suitable for oven use, but should always be left to cool down before washing. Enamel is generally dishwasher safe, though we recommend hand washing especially when items are chipped.
