A soft black glazed terracotta squat bottle shaped vase. Hand shaped, glazed, and finished by the artisans of Maria Terracota in Porto de Mós, central Portugal, and a family company that traces its ceramic producing roots back to 1900 when the eponymous Maria, ancestor and ceramicist, first started producing the terracotta earthenware upon which the modern shapes and production methods remain based. Approximately 19cm diameter by 16cm high.
