A beech handled brush set with seven rows of tampico fibre harvested from Agave Lechugilla a plant native to the Chihuahuan Desert whose fibres have been used for centuries by the indigenous people for cordage, brooms, and hairbrushes. From the workshops of the Redecker company, who since their founding by Friedrich Redecker in the 1930s have specialised in the production of unusual and high quality brushes, made using traditional techniques and largely natural materials. About 20cm long.
Care Advice
Keep dry when not in use. In the case of wet-use brushes, please shake any excess moisture from the bristles, and dry hanging up or on a surface with the bristles facing down. Clean brushes only when necessary with a little dish soap and hot water, making sure to dry thoroughly. Condition the wooden surface every now and then with a beeswax furniture polish, or mineral oil, to prevent cracks or splitting.
