£73.00
Ex Tax: £60.83
A flat, black leather zip-pouch made from natural leather with undyed linen lining and inner pockets. Complete with a leather zip pull. Perfect for traveling, this pouch can easily accommodate makeup, stationery, travel cards and currency. Designed by Yumiko Sekine, founder of Fog Linen Works. Sekine started her first business in 1993 importing goods from around the world to Japan — in her search for products she noticed a lack of affordable, high-quality linens, the likes of which she grew up using. In 1999 she visited Lithuania, a country renowned for its centuries old linen production from the growing of flax to the spinning and wefting of the fibres into highly absorbent, robust fabrics. From there, she began a connection with a Lithuanian linen producer which has grown from a range of seven textile items to a wide range of towels and cloths, as well as a range of household products made in collaboration with skilled artisans from India. Measures 21cm by 15cm.
Care Advice
Avoid getting leather soaking wet, when it is time to clean it a lukewarm damp cloth will do. If the leather has been soaked it should not be dried with a hairdryer or furnace, but rather dried slowly in a warm location. Oil with a leather conditioner to soften the leather every so often, as failing to do so could lead to cracks or tears. Apply a small amount to a cloth and rub into the leather, covering the whole surface. Use friction to heat the leather, allowing the conditioner to soak in, and leave for 30 minutes. Using a clean cloth, wipe away any excess
