A pure horsehair and tampico hand pulled bath or shower brush, with a longer oiled oak handle for harder to reach places, and a generously sized head for increased efficiency. The horsehair and tampico blend offers a stiffer fibre, for a more invigorating, exfoliating effect. Used with your favourite soap for lathering and massaging the skin, this is a gentle but effective exfoliating brush. From Swedish and Estonian workshops where visually impaired craftsmen find employment in the hand shaping, stitching, and assembly of world renowned brushes. About 38.5cm long, with a 12.5 x 7cm head.
Care Advice
Keep dry when not in use. In the case of wet-use brushes, please shake any excess moisture from the bristles, and dry hanging up or on a surface with the bristles facing down. Clean brushes only when necessary with a little shampoo and hot water, making sure to dry thoroughly. Condition the wooden surface every now and then with a beeswax furniture polish, or mineral oil, to prevent cracks or splitting. Note that clothes moths will go for animal fibre brushes in the same way that they will for animal fibre clothes. Keep brushes in a dust free environment, and treat surfaces with cedar oil to repel them.
