Lamson Leather Knife Strop with Wooden Base
£30.00
Ex Tax: £25.00
A traditional leather strop paddle , made by Lamson USA, America’s oldest surviving cutlery company, operating out of Massachusetts since 1837. Stropping is the final step to achieving a mirror edge when sharpening knives. An un-stropped knife, when tested on paper, will most often catch and stutter a little, but stropping removes any of the final imperfections left by stone sharpening. Stropping dramatically reduces tripping, and will help you to maintain your knife at a professional standard.
Care Advice
When not in use, store in a dry environment. Treat with a beeswax furniture polish or mineral oil conditioner to keep the wood from drying out and prevent warping or splitting.
- Weight g 80g
- Item Dimensions L28 x W4.6 X H1.2
