Kobayashi Forged Carbon Steel Garden Snips (Shinshū Type)

A lightweight pair of forged carbon steel garden snips or bud shears, with textured handles for a comfortable, non-slip grip and a volute coil compression spring for soft-feel squeeze. Made in Japan by a specialist Garden Scissor and Shear maker, these snips are great for light garden use (cutting flowers and herbs, harvesting fruit and for trimming buds, leaves, and soft branches on plants). They have narrow, pointed blades which makes them great for getting into tight spots when doing light pruning. These snips have carbon-steel blades, which means they will keep their sharp edge really well, but also means they should be carefully dried after use, and lightly oiled if putting away for a longer period (carbon steel tools are best used often to avoid rusting). With a total length of 175mm, blade length is 48mm, and they weigh 107 grams.
