A traditional bellied jar, with a removable / replaceable rubber ring and convenient clip top, for secure sealing. Perfect for pickling, storing of dry foods, fresh coffee or sourdough starters. Genuine Le Parfait jars have been made in France for over 70 years, to the original design, and to the exacting standards demanded by the French gastronome. They are made of pressed glass, and bear the famous raised glass logo. Diameter 108mm, Height145.6mm, Capacity 750ml.
Care Advice
The glass jars are suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher, but metal parts can and should be removed before doing so — these should be hand—washed only to prevent rust and increase longevity.
These jars are suitable for freezing, but shock temperature changes must be avoided. Additionally, when freezing liquids the jars must not be over filled, and must taper outwards at the top — liquids expand as they freeze, and a taper allows room to do so without cracking the jar.
