A lightweight, quick-drying hand towel made from 100% linen with narrow stripes woven in. Linen is a naturally absorbent, soft and sustainable material that is perfect for use in the bathroom, post-swimming, or even in the sauna. Flax used in the manufacturing is sustainably grown in central Europe without artificial irrigation. Designed by Elina Helenius — a Helsinki based textile artist — in collaboration with the master weavers of Lapuan Kankurit. Lapuan Kankurit, a fourth-generation weaving family from Finland and has been creating their beautiful linen fabrics for over 45 years — from making the yarn from scratch to the final sewn piece. Wash separately in 40ºc to 60ºc water and avoid softener or bleach. Measures 50 x 60cm.
Care Advice
Wash separately at 40 — 60°C, in plenty of water. Avoid softener and bleach, especially on towels as this can affect their absorbency. Do not tumble dry and reshape while damp. Linen bought “Unwashed” will shrink by approximately 7% after washing, its surface wrinkling and softening. Iron while the fabric is still damp, remembering that linen dries quickly.
