A characterful Yakumi condiment dish, wheel-thrown locally and salt fired in Bull's self-built kiln in Oxfordshire. Glazed on the interior with a rich Tenmoku glaze, salt firing results in a characteristic 'orange peel' natural glaze to the exterior of these dishes, with unique results on each. Great for serving small portions of butter, jam or soy sauce, this versatile dish can also be used to burn our Papier d' Armenie strips, or as a candle holder for one of our beeswax stumpy candles.
Crafted by Joseph Bull, a studio potter who trained with Knighton Mill Pottery before establishing his own studio in Oxfordshire.
Approximately 2cm tall, 8cm diameter.
