Handmade in the UK, this 9 litre (2 gallon) traditional watering can is galvanised, lacquered and supplied with a brass rose for a minimum 20 year life expectancy, assuming it is protected from frost and stored dry. Founded in Clapton, East London in 1886 — although long since having migrated to the West Midlands — Haws are thought to be the oldest watering can company in the world.
Care Advice
Unlacquered brass will tarnish and develop a natural patina with time. If you wish to bring back its original shine a suitable metal polish like Brasso or Elsterglanz will do the trick — use according to instructions.
