A dark red, vitreous ceramic enamel lidded saucepan of approximately 1.5 litre capacity. Firing in a traditional kiln results in slight variations of temperature and therefore colour and nature of finish. All our Ukrainian enamelware is triple coated onto a heavy steel base, is dishwasher safe, does not taint food with novel chemicals or flavours, and is suitable for use on all standard (including induction) hobs. Approximately 17cm diameter, slightly larger across the lid, 8cm high (12cm with the lid), and about 30cm long including handle. One supplied.
Care Advice
Suitable on all heat sources, including induction. Use the lowest possible temperature for at least a minute to ensure even heating throughout the pan and prevent warping. This is especially true when using an induction hob, which will heat very quickly and powerfully. Enamel is suitable for use in the oven. Enamel can chip upon impact. Provided there are only chips on the exterior surface the item will still be safe to use. We recommend repurposing or disposing of enamel products chipped on the interior surface. Enamel is generally dishwasher safe, though we recommend hand washing especially when items are chipped.
