Dust Brush, Waxed Beech & Goat Hair
£30.00
Ex Tax: £25.00
A stitched dust-brush of polished waxed beech, white goat-hair and steel wire; finished with a brass pin secured back plate, and a white felt bumper which should help prevent accidental damage to more fragile items. For the quick dusting of delicate surfaces, furniture, and small moveables. From a small family run 'brush-house' in Germany with a hand brush making tradition going back over three generations. 27cm, with a head of about 13cm.
Care Advice
Keep dry when not in use. In the case of wet-use brushes, please shake any excess moisture from the bristles, and dry hanging up or on a surface with the bristles facing down. Clean brushes only when necessary with a little shampoo and hot water, making sure to dry thoroughly. Condition the wooden surface every now and then with a beeswax furniture polish, or mineral oil, to prevent cracks or splitting.
Note that clothes moths will go for animal fibre brushes in the same way that they will for animal fibre clothes. Keep brushes in a dust free environment, and treat surfaces with cedar oil to repel them.
