A pleasingly heavy brass pen or pencil case from a small and well established metal pressing workshop located in downtown Tokyo. Left raw, that is without any chrome or nickel plating, without powder coating or lacquers of any kind, the brass will quickly lose its lustre, developing a patina of finger prints, stains, and oxidation — an index of handling and use that evolves and deepens with the slow passage of time. Approximately 17cm x 5cm x 2cm.
Care Advice
Unlacquered brass will tarnish and develop a natural patina with time. If you wish to bring back its original shine a suitable metal polish like Brasso or Elsterglanz will do the trick — use according to instructions.
