A pretty white enamelled steel colander or sieve with a bowl of about 20cm diameter, a long handle, and a hook to the opposing side to allow it to rest over a pan without slipping. Made in the Austrian Riess enamel works, which draws power from its own hydroelectric plants and seeks to operate in a socially and environmentally responsible way. The colander has a depth 10.5cm, the handle measures 19cm and the holes approx 3mm.
Care Advice
Enamel can chip upon impact. Provided there are only chips on the exterior surface the item will still be safe to use. We recommend repurposing or disposing of enamel products chipped on the interior surface.
Enamel is suitable for oven use, but should always be left to cool down before washing.
Enamel is generally dishwasher safe, though we recommend hand washing especially when items are chipped.
