A beautifully smooth Japanese paper notebook, printed and stitched in sections, before being tape bound and trimmed at a small workshop in Tokyo. Each consists of 80 pages of fine paper, watermarked with a laid paper pattern. The grey rule lines are produced in small batches using a line gauge machine and water-based ink, a method which helps eliminate the repellent spots typical of more commonly used offset print methods and solvent inks.
