A 15cm pure brass ruler with with one raised edge for easy pick up and to prevent under-bleeding when used with ink-pens. From a small, long established metal pressing workshop based in downtown Tokyo. Left raw, that is without any chrome or nickel plating, without powder coating or lacquers of any kind, the brass will quickly lose its lustre, developing a patina of finger prints, stains, and oxidation - an index of handling and use that evolves and deepens with the slow passage of time.
