A traditional wood-rimmed sieve or sifter, made using a thin strip of wood, steamed and bent into a circular shape, and fitted with a fine stainless steel wire mesh. For sifting flour and sugar for baking, icing sugar over cakes, or flour over bread or whilst rolling out dough. Made in Italy by Panetta Casalinghi, who have been producing traditional kitchen tools from wood for over 50 years. Measures 18cm in diameter with a height of 8cm. Brush clean after use, and store dry.
