A traditional wood-rimmed riddle, made using a thin strip of wood steamed and bent into a circular shape, then fitted with a steel wire screen held in place with 12 radial wires attached to the outer rim. For sieving rough soil when preparing ground for planting seed, or for wheat, oats, cereals and legumes. Made in Italy by Panetta Casalinghi, who have been producing traditional tools from wood for over 50 years. Measures 38cm in diameter with a height of 10cm. Brush and wipe clean with a damp cloth after use, and oil surfaces to protect between uses. Store dry.
