Taisei 'Pad Note' Pocket Notebook, Grid, Black
£5.50

A simple and elegant notepad, made from lightweight, high quality paper in Osaka, Japan by Taisei Shiki, founded in 1919. Part of their 'Shiki-Gu' range, which translates to 'Paper Tools', these notepads have a delicate blue 5mm grid pattern on the interior and a special 'lay flat' binding with a clever design which allows pages to be peeled out from the spine into separate folded sheets, for individual use. The notebook's design allows for traditional 'tategaki' usage (writing vertically from right to left), or 'yokogaki' (writing from left to right). Taisei's special glue allows for the pages to be easily removed as with a memo pad, while maintaining the notebook's overall integrity. Measures 9.5cm by 14.8cm and contains 40 sheets / 80 pages.
