A small unglazed candle holder, hand-thrown and carved for us in iron-rich stoneware by Symy Ong a mile or so from the Objects of Use store. Designed with tea lights or votives in mind, this candle holder makes a thoughtful addition to any table setting. Ong, who apprenticed for a year with a Japanese wood-fired pottery, has recently set up studio in Oxford, making stoneware pieces which are fired in a gas kiln. Measures approximately 6.5cm in diameter, with an interior space of 4.5cm diameter. 3.5cm tall. Variation is to be expected given the hand-made nature of this product.
