Starling twitter call
Imbued perhaps with the spirit of Doolittle M. François Morel has since a childhood amongst the hills of the Rhône-Alpes region been making instruments so that he and others might communicate with birds, creating 'toys' that he hopes might inspire in their users a greater love of nature. The starling is a fairly easy call to master, the rubber pipes held between forefinger and thumb and the hand turned rapidly back and forth - it mimics the call not of a single bird, but of a small gathering. Information on the starling, and a sample of their song can be found here.
