A finely thrown stoneware coffee cup, perfect for cappuccino, latte or hot chocolate, hand thrown  and reduction fired by Simon Horton in South Oxfordshire using a small gas kiln of his own making. With a homemade ash glaze, developed through many hours of experimentation, producing a soft green glaze. With an admiration for pots quiet, understated and modest, Simon finds inspiration from medieval slipware to early Chinese and Korean pottery and feeds this back into his work. Height of 6cm, with a diameter of 9cm, approximately.
