Two 500g cubes of white vegetable oil soap, sourced from a fourth-generation Savonnerie in Salon-de-Provence. The soap is batch processed in large cauldrons that are heated to 120°C for ten days, allowing for a slow and thorough saponification of lye and oil, after which the curds are washed in both fresh and salted water to remove any excess sodium hydroxide or other trace impurities, before finally being allowed to cool and air dry in large flat moulds. Famously pure, the white coconut oil soap is typically used for household use for general cleaning and gentle stain removal. Each cube has been embossed with an illustration of "La Sainte Famille", or Mary, Jesus and Joseph. Cleanliness is next to godliness! Palm oil free and eco-certified. 1kg total.
