An elegant mid-length octagonal polished brass clutch pencil for 0.5mm graphite leads, fine enough for use as a writing or occasional sketching pencil. The brass is untreated and uncoated allowing it to develop a unique natural patina with time and use. Originally founded in 1883 as Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik - a dip pen factory - Kaweco began manufacturing clutch and propelling pencils after the style of their iconic pens in 1994. About 142mm overall length, vials of 12 HB graphite replacement leads are available separately.
