There is no doubt that folding scissors have acquired something of a bad reputation in recent years being found amidst the shoddy offerings of airport lounges or upmarket Christmas crackers. These though are an exception, being made by the master scissor makers of Nogent, Haute-Marne, France. The blades themselves carry the putter-togetherer's marks inside the pivot, showing they have been properly paired before finishing, the fold is sprung, and the action satisfyingly crisp and precise.
