An assorted set of 12 brightly coloured 5 gram cocoons of approximately 110 metres of French made mercerised three ply cotton sewing thread in black. Mercerised cotton is specially treated to improve its lustre and strength, and ‘gassed’ — that is passed briefly through a gas flame to burn away any stray fibres resulting in a smooth easy sewing thread.
