A cylindrical flower vase with narrow opening, designed for use either on a table or shelf, or hung from a nail or hook in the wall, from a small ring attached near the top of the vase., Perfect for holding a small to medium sized bouquet, Hand-thrown and assembled for us in stoneware by Jynsym Ong, a mile or so from the Objects of Use store. With a hand-applied shino glaze. Ong, who apprenticed for a year with a Japanese wood-fired pottery, has since set up studio in Oxford, making stoneware pieces which are fired in a gas kiln. Measures around 18cm tall, 7cm diameter.
