Oxfordshire stoneware Yunomi, Ash
An elegant tall drinking vessel in the Japanese style, with a gently flared rim for a comfortable hold, and a turned foot. Great for a morning coffee or juice. With a stoneware / porcelain mix body and a beech ash glaze, which is gas-fired to create a beautiful depth to the glaze. Wheel-thrown by Joseph Bull, a studio potter based in Oxfordshire, who trained with Knighton Mill Pottery and the Leach Pottery in St Ives, before establishing his own studio in Wootton, Oxfordshire. Measures approximately 8cm diameter, 11cm high.
